Stage 1:  FREE Initial Consultation

Your journey starts here and it’s FREE! Make an appointment with our expert consultant at our head office to go through the process of your knockdown and rebuild. During this initial stage, we will discuss your budget, design, build, and deadline requirements. Our initial consultation includes a site visit, Sydney Water Approval assessment, and project quotation.

We believe that you have the right to BE WELL-INFORMED FROM THE GET-GO!

Stage 2:  Design and Approval

We will guide you through the whole design process and make sure the design meets your budget. Time spent on this process also depends on the number of changes you make to the design. We offer unlimited modifications and, once the plans have been signed off, our team will take care of the rest including submission to PCA or Council DA for Approval.

Stage 3:  Moving House

Once we have final approval, if needed you can temporarily move to a home or place where you can reside until your renovation is finished. Rest assured, barring any unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, your renovation will be done on or before our agreed-upon deadline.

We offer the service of finding a temporary home to rent during the period of construction to eliminate the unknown of where you will live while renovation is ongoing.

This stage can be excluded for small projects like bathroom or kitchen renovations where you can stay in your home if you choose to do so.

Stage 4:  Renovation of Your House

At DK, we pride ourselves on how well we project-manage our renovations to make sure our project timeline is met without cutting corners. All our contractors are fully licenced and can ensure delivery of the highest quality build for all our clients. At every inspection stage of the renovation, your dedicated DK Project Manager will inform you of the progress and we will only ask for payments at stages that have been completed.

Stage 5:  Hand Over

When we commit to go on the journey with you, we mean it. Before we hand it over, we will walk you through every part of your new build to make sure you are HAPPY with what we have delivered.

Our company will have a 90-day grace period to fix minor defects and a 6-year home warranty insurance. We will not ask for a final payment until you have received your final OC (Occupation Certificate).

When we hand over, we don’t want you to call us back, the only reason we will get a call is when you refer us or want us to renovate other sections of your home or build a brand-new home for you!
